The Day

It has been unbelievably beautiful here the past several days, and yesterday morning when I stepped outside my house in the morning there was a definite chill in the air. So unusual this time of year…

It really made me stop and notice; made me be mindful. Mindful of the weather, the sky, the clouds, the day; the full moon this week…..all of it.

It feels good to notice, to be aware. And in that place of awareness and mindfulness we can find gratitude for the beauty of the day.

We are in the midst of such tension and seeming uncertainty in our world right now. Many of us are feeling anxious and unsettled. It can help to stop and pause, to remember to be mindful and in the present moment. Mindfulness is a perfect antidote to stress.
